The Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout is the native trout species of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Their main home, Yellowstone Lake, is flooded with the invasive Lake Trout. It is our job to protect the Cutthroat Trout when handling these beautiful fish, and to remove any Lake Trout we catch. The Cutty, as they are fondly called, represents DFH and our desire to protect the ecosystems that we have come to love.
